ReplyDeleteI read a book called One for All by Evelyn coleman. First,the important ch1racter is Tessa. Because the book is about Tessa. It was the day of the race. Tessa did not win. She was trying hard. And she tried her best and she lost.
Then,second,what the story met to me.it was alway's try your hardest. And never give up. There is alway's a second chance. And there is alway's someone to help you. No mader what happends you will be always be a winner.
Then,third,my text-self connection. I am conecting with Tessa. Because she try's her hardest for track. And she did not give up. And I tried my hardest for track. Tessa and me try hard every time.

The thing that suprised me was when Tessa didnt win the race. i really though she was going to win. Tessa has been practicing for days. And she worked really hard.there was two races but she didnt win any of them.she must feal embarrest. pg.66

The thing that i like about the book is how Tessa likes to run.i like to run ,too.thats why i was on GIRLS ON THE RUN.I was also on track just like Tessa.But i didnt practice.Thats why i like how Tessa runs.pg.every page

ReplyDeleteSomething that supprised me is when Tessa lost the races. As long as she tryed I don't really care but sufe and dini really sucked at racing.
The main character tessa really wanted to win those races but she felt really disipointed that she did not win.
What i liked about the book One For All by:Evelyn Coleman is when Tessa tryed out6 for new guied runners.

One thing that puzzled me was when Tessa let go of the tether. Because I don’t know why she let go of it. Another thing that puzzled me was on pg. 66 when Tessa didn’t care when she found out she didn’t win any of the races. Because if I was her I would have kind of cared. The next thing that puzzled me was on pg.66 when Coach Carolyn said immediately after the races if Tessa wanted to come to The Big Meet against Palmer Elementary. Because if I was Coach Carolyn I would of waited and ask. The last thing that puzzled me was on pg.67 when Tessa thought she wouldn’t win any races at The Big Meet. Because she did really well at The Team Race that day. That's what puzzled me in Chapter 10!

One part that I liked was on pg. 67 when Dini and Sefu offered to practice with Tessa every day until The Big Meet. I liked this part because that was really kind of them. Another part that I liked was on pg. 67 when Sefu said that her grandmother had a black belt in Karate and she was OVER 60 YEARS OLD! I liked this part because it’s truly amazing that a lady OVER 60 YEARS OLD can do karate! The next part that I liked was on pg. 68 when it said that Tessa’s dreams were coming true. I liked this part because it’s great that Tessa isn’t arguing with her best friends, Bailey and Phyllis. That is what I liked in Chapter 10!
There were a few important characters in Chapter 10.They are: Tessa, Sefu and Dini, and Coach Carolyn. Tessa was important because she never gave up. I think Tessa was also important because if Tessa wasn’t in the story, it wouldn’t make sense. Sefu and Dini are important because they helped Tessa accomplish the race and they’re going to help Tessa practice for THE BIG MEET at Palmer Elementary. I think Sefu and Dini are also important because they have been spending their own time with Tessa instead of maybe playing video games or drawing and that’s super kind of them! I think Coach Carolyn is important because she let Tessa join THE BIG MEET on Saturday. I think Coach Carolyn is also important because she was so kind and she didn’t ever rush Tessa. Those are the characters that I think are important in chapter 10!
