Author's Purpose in Nonfiction Text

You've been learning about different types of author's purpose. Now it's time for you to go out on the web and look for your own examples for each type of author's purpose. EACH person should have a link for EACH TYPE of author's purpose. You also need to inlude a couple sentences that explain why your article is an example for that type of author's purpose.     In wildfires rage down under the authors purpose was to inform. I know this because it told me lots of facts about austalia. and it told me, is used to having wildfires. Lots of people blame global warming cause of the weather. And lots of people say that they saw animals running down the street.i leared lots of information and full of real facts about australia thats how i know the authors purpose is to inform

    The math fight the authors purpose is to entertain and i know that cause IT was funny and it did not tell facts. And it told me a ryme. It also told me that i walked into my class one day and then i heard my teacher say.

    YES WE CAN the authors purpose is to persuade cause it is tellng me that barack obama is a great leader. And they are changing thier schools name to obama. it is trying to tell that barack is a goood presedent
